Shiatsu is a complementary therapy and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Clients are responsible for consulting their GP or healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns. No claims are made that Shiatsu can cure or treat specific medical conditions.
All information provided during sessions — including wellbeing guidance, lifestyle suggestions, or energetic observations — is intended for general support only and should not replace professional medical advice.
The practitioner reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session if it is not safe or appropriate to proceed, including circumstances involving contraindications, acute illness, or attendance under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Clients participate in sessions at their own risk and are responsible for communicating any relevant health information prior to treatment. Shiatsu is a therapeutic, non‑sexual practice; any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session with the full fee charged.
Financial Terms
Payment is due on the day for single sessions; blocks are paid upfront.
Prepaid blocks are non‑refundable, including situations where a client changes their mind or chooses not to continue treatment. However, unused sessions may be transferred to another person, provided the request is made in writing and within the original block’s valid time frame. See block terms for full details.

Cancellations made with under 72 hours’ notice are subject to a £25 room fee for single‑session clients. For block clients, cancellations under 72 hours result in either a £25 room fee or loss of the session. No‑shows are charged at the full session rate or deducted from the block. Late arrivals shorten the session, and the full fee applies. See cancellation rules and late arrival terms.

The practitioner is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the clinic.
Data Protection
All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Treatment records are stored securely for 7 years, after which they are deleted or destroyed.
