These terms help keep sessions clear, respectful, and sustainable for both of us. By booking a session, clients agree to the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and the Legal Disclaimer.

Cancellation Policy

Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled with 72 hours’ notice.

For cancellations made under 72 hours, there is a £25 room fee to cover the reserved space.

No‑shows (not attending without notice) are charged at the full session rate.

If you arrive late, the session will still finish at the scheduled time and the full fee applies.

If the room is available, sessions may be extended by up to 30 minutes for an additional £25.

Cancellation Policy ~ Prepaid Blocks

Blocks offer a simple way to create continuity and support deeper change.

3 × 60 min block — must be used within 4 months
5 × 60 min block — must be used within 6 month

You can book sessions as you go or reschedule within the time window. Unused sessions are non‑refundable.

Prepaid blocks are non‑refundable, including situations where a client changes their mind or chooses not to continue treatment. However, unused sessions may be transferred to another person, provided the transfer request is made in writing and within the original block’s valid time frame.

For cancellations:

72 hrs notice → no deduction

For cancellations under 72 hours, clients can choose:

Pay the £25 room fee and keep their session credit
Lose the session with no extra payment
No‑show → one full session deducted from the block

Gift Vouchers

Voucher validity Each voucher is valid for the time period stated on the voucher and must be used within that timeframe.

Expiry Vouchers have a set expiry date. They cannot be extended unless agreed in advance under exceptional circumstances.

Session value A voucher can be redeemed for the session length printed on it (60 or 90 minutes), even if session prices change.

Non‑refundable Vouchers are non‑refundable once issued.

Transferability Vouchers can be transferred to another person. Please let me know the name of the person using it.

Lost vouchers If a voucher is misplaced, an electronic replacement can be issued if the original purchaser’s details are provided.

Booking responsibility It is the voucher holder’s responsibility to book their session before the expiry date.

Cancellation Standard cancellation terms apply. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the voucher being redeemed.

Accessibility

The clinic is located on the first floor, and there is no lift. Street parking is limited, but buses run frequently nearby.

Shiatsu is usually carried out on a futon at floor level. If this is not accessible for you, please let me know — sessions can be adapted and carried out on a table instead.

General Terms

Shiatsu sessions are fully adapted to your needs on the day. Please arrive on time — late arrivals shorten the session, and the full fee applies.

Clients are asked to share any relevant health information or changes before the session so treatments can be adapted safely.

If you arrive with a condition that makes Shiatsu unsuitable that day — such as fever, acute illness, or other contraindications — the session may be rescheduled with a 50% charge.

Shiatsu is received fully clothed in comfortable clothing. If anything feels uncomfortable during the session, you’re encouraged to communicate this — your comfort and safety matter.

Sessions will be declined if a client arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Shiatsu is a therapeutic, non‑sexual practice. Any inappropriate behaviour ends the session immediately with the full fee charged.

Payment is due on the day for single sessions; blocks are paid upfront.

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings.
